After the very recent MX0INT just two weeks ago, we decided it was time for a warmer place to activate.

EU-159 had been for a long time in the target list but it was always postponed for other more challenging activities. This IOTA group is one of the rarest groups in France and we believe it deserved a proper full scale operation

During the weekend of May 30 to June 01 - using the callsign TM1INT - a group of old friends consisting of Christian EA3NT , Vincent F4BKV , Gil F4FET , Diego F4HAU , Fabrice F4FPG , Gabriel EA3AKA and Ludo (SWL) plan to be active from the sand bank island named Banc d'Arguin.

At this stage it is likely the activation will take place during local daylight hours only, due to the Natural Park restrictions, however we will strive for a longer activation period while we are there, trying to convince the island's representatives. In any case, due to the protected wildlife area, the use of generator will be forbiden and therefore operation will be only performed with batteries and small vertical antennas near the salt water.

Please be aware that weather and sea conditions will determine this whole activation. We will announce on air, or via twitter, any potential changes
